Manchester City winger Omar Elabdellaoui is struggling for minutes on-loan at Feyenoord.

Feyenoord coach Ronald Koeman has explained why he's not fielding Elabdellaoui.

"He is only getting stronger, but he must be better," said Koeman to Voetbal International. "You can see that this boy has qualities, only he plays as a winger and precisely for that position, we have plenty of choice.

"He sometimes plays too much like a junior."
