Manchester City winger Adam Johnson admits he's pinching himself over his success with England.
Johnson is the darling of the England fans, his name echoing around Basel on Tuesday night, his sense of adventure a symbol of a new era.
Shaking his head, he told the News of the World: "Four caps in and they are singing my name. Everything has happened so quickly, scoring two goals and the fans singing my name. I'm in a dream world."
It's not just the two goals that have endeared him to fans. It's his adventurous approach.
He adds: "I've always said I like to excite the fans.
"That's what they come to watch. It certainly was what I wanted to watch as a kid, players who attack players, who are skilful, take people on.
"(Ryan) Giggs and people like that. (David) Ginola in his prime.
"He used to go past people fully - not just half a yard to get a cross in.
"I like to see players who go fully past their opponent."
