Manchester City are ready to send James McAtee away on-loan next season.

And a move to a Premier League rival is under consideration.

The Sun says City could offer McAtee as a makeweight in their bid to land Marc Cucurella this summer.

The champions have made Brighton's Spanish full-back, 23, one of their top targets for the current window.

And they could include a season-long loan for McAtee as part of a deal which would cost £40m.
