Manchester City are ready to bid big to land Leicester City attacker Riyad Mahrez.

The Daily Mail says City are closing in on the £75million transfer of Mahrez.

Talks are ongoing with terms to be finalised but all parties are hopeful of a positive conclusion over the next week.

Leicester also want to sign Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts with negotiations running separately.

City have focused their attention on Mahrez and Napoli midfielder Jorginho, however the asking price for both has escalated.
