Manchester City will challenge Real Madrid for PSG star Neymar.

El Mundo Deportivo says Neymar joined the Ligue 1 table toppers for a world record £198million but is said to be unhappy in the French capital.

Real have positioned themselves as favourites for the former Barcelona forward's signature.

But Neymar, who is currently back in his homeland recovering from a broken foot, is said to be happy to consider every option and has a soft spot for the Premier League.

City will also be boosted by the fact Neymar is thought to be keen to work with Pep Guardiola during his career.
