Manchester City are watching Hearts fullback Aaron Hickey.

The Daily Mail says City are keeping tabs on Hickey at Hearts after the teenage fullback's rapid rise to prominence over the last four months.

City have forged a good relationship with Hearts and sent 21-year-old Ryotaro Meshino on loan to Tynecastle last month.

Hickey is seen as having a bright future and can play at left and right back.

City are yet to formalise their interest and scouts travelling to watch Meshino are continuing to track Hickey's progress.
