Manchester City have joined the interest for Borussia Dortmund striker Lucas Barrios.

The Paraguay international is available from Dortmund and been linked with Liverpool and QPR.

However, City boss Roberto Mancini is also keen, particularly if he can take Barrios on-loan.

City were in contact with BVB yesterday about Barrios' availability and if he could be taken on a temporary deal for the remainder of the season.
