Man City want to bring back Wolves No1 Hennessey

Manchester City are eyeing Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.

The Mirror says City are plotting a shock raid to bring old boy Hennessey back to the club - as new competition for Joe Hart.

City spies are compiling a dossier on Wolves's Welsh international who was with the club as a kid before leaving for first-team football with the Midlands outfit.

However City are now in the market for a keeper to sign in the summer - as they look to let Shay Given leave after a year of misery in the shadows.

And Hennessey is ticking all of the boxes with their talent-spotters because of his fine form in the Premier League - with the chances of a swoop increasing if Mick McCarthy's side go down.
