Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure feels he's being frozen out by manager Pep Guardiola.

The Mirror says while he and manager Pep Guardiola remain on speaking terms, there has been no discussion about what the former Barcelona ace has to do to be included.

A source close to the player said: “Yaya is fit and ready to play. Pep picks the team and it is his right to leave Yaya out of the team.

“But Yaya was surprised to hear him say that there is a sporting problem and that he has been made aware what the issue is.

“Yaya's relationship with Pep is good, but he has not been told anything in detail about what he needs to do to get back into the squad."
