Man City tracking Schalke's Papadopoulos, Napoli's Cannavaro

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini is after a new centre-half before the summer transfer window closes.

City have been leaking goals during the pre-season and have only Vincent Kompany and Joleon Lescott to choose from following the ankle injury sustained by Matija Nastasic.

Reports suggest that Pellegrini is keeping an eye on Schalke's Greece international Kyriakos Papadopoulos and Napoli's Paolo Cannavaro in a bid to strengthen his central defensive stocks.
