Manchester City are set to hand Kyle Walker a bumper pay-hike.
The Mirror says the back-to-back champions have opened contract talks with defender Walker and will offer him an extension to his current deal in a sign of his manager's renewed faith.
City want to reward Walker for his part in this unprecedented haul of silverware by handing him a pay rise and contract extension.
The 29-year-old has three years left on the five-agreement he signed when he joined from Tottenham for £50m in 2017 and City will offer him a substantial increase on his £100,000-a-week salary.
They see him as a key member of manager Pep Guardiola's side and his contract extension would tie him down at the Etihad until well into his 30s.
