Man City tell new chief Soriano to BETTER Man Utd finances
Former Barcelona supremo Ferran Soriano will be told to take on Manchester United - both on and off the pitch - by Manchester City.
Soriano is expected to be named new chief executive officer at City.
And that means taking the Reds’ place as regular Premier League winners and Champions League contenders, as well as leapfrogging them at the top of the English clubs’ rich list.
City had a turnover of £153million for last season, but this season are expected to move above Spurs and Liverpool and into the European top 10, with only United, Chelsea and Arsenal ahead of them in England.And the Manchester Evening News says the Blues’ next head man – expected to be former Barcelona supremo Soriano – has been briefed that the owners want City to more than double the club’s income in the next 10 years.

Oh and before I forget 500 million spent compared to less than 100 million by united and still only 2 points ahead with united going through a injury crisis and city having nothing of that sort.
At least united does not pay a striker who has always said he wants to leave and goes home without taking permission from the club. City should not play tevez any more and should let him rot in the reserves for what he has done. You are a fool if you think united'd fan base is due to the glazers. United were always a big club even before they came. Fact is without the glazers we could have had more cash in the transfer market and more money for wages. United is in debt because of them. Typical glory hunting city fan- I suppose you will support wigan if they had sheikh mansour's amazing cash power. City will never be as big as united. PS How does it feel to have a smaller fan base than liverpool even when they are much behind you.
You do know MU spent the most of all the teams during the 80's to today? No one spends 18 million pounds on a 19 yr old Rooney, how about 8 million for useless bebe or Diouf? or breaking their own record numerous times during the early to mid 90's? How about the fact that the "world wide base" is due to the fact they are owned my Americans? or MU is in debt?
How about the fact that MC has a growing fan base? Bringing in an ex Barca employee represents the fact that the money spent to earn prestige will not go back into youth systems to draw young talent. Do Blackburn or West Brom attract amazing talent? No. people who are scared of competition are irrational.
