Hamburg manager Martin Jol says he is content at his current club despite being linked with the job at Manchester City.
The former Tottenham man said as late as last week that he would consider returning to the Premier League, but it looks as though this is not the best time for him to do so.
"These things are really getting on my nerves, I do not think about it," he told Bild.
"My aim is to see the Hamburg supporters happy at the end of the season. We are a really big club with great fans and an environment of only a few clubs in Europe.
"I am very happy to be here and enjoy the fantastic circumstances. Hamburg is a club with a big tradition. Even in England there are only four clubs like that.
"I could really imagine working on here beyond the end of my contract, although so far we have not been talking about an extension.
"I read the club wants to make the next step. I am curious to find out what this next step will look like."
