Roque Santa Cruz admits Manchester City teammate Carlos Tevez is buzzing in training ahead of Saturday's derby against Manchester United.

Tevez goes into the game in stunning form with 20 goals in his last 18 games.

"Carlos has been fantastic for the whole season," said Paraguayan striker Santa Cruz.

"He has been scoring braces and hat-tricks, but this will be a massive game for him. He wants to prove himself against United, and possibly to try to ruin their hopes for the title."
