Man City striker Aguero working tirelessly for Champions League return

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero is hoping to be fit in time for the club's UEFA Champions League games.

The Argentine is desperate to feature in the latter stages of this year's competition.

City have a round of 16 second leg tie against Real Madrid, where they are 3-1 up from the first leg.

Per the Daily Mail, Aguero had surgery on his knee and has been in the gym three times a day so he can be ready for the games.

The 32-year-old is working hard to prove he can be involved in the quarter finals, where they are set to face Juventus or Lyon.

Aguero is City's main goalscorer and his return to action would be a huge boost for their chances of winning the competition.
