Manchester City are eager to find a new right-back addition.

With the future of Danilo looking uncertain, City manager Pep Guardiola is keen to get the deal for Joao Cancelo over the line.

The Juventus full-back will be allowed to leave the Italian champions this summer, and City seem happy to match their valuation.

Gazzetta dello Sport's Nicolo Schira claims that Juventus defender Cancelo is nearing a move to the Etihad.

"Manchester City want to close for Joao Cancelo from Juventus," Schira tweeted.

"They have an agreement with the Portuguese player.

"Contacts ongoing to finalise the deal."
