Man City on standby as Januzaj's Man Utd contract issues continue

Manchester United are in danger of losing emerging talent Adnan Januzaj according to the Daily Mail.

The Old Trafford club and highly-rated 18-year old Belgian attacking midfielder are unable to come to a financial agreement regarding his contract and have reportedly been at loggerheads for six months.

Januzaj, who made his Premier League debut in the 2-0 win against Crystal Palace on Saturday, also wants to be assured of further first team opportunities.

The former Anderlecht youth academy star is out of contract at the end of the season but has not yet agreed to a new deal prompting interest from neighbours Manchester City.

However, United chiefs are supremely confident that they will manage to tie down Januzaj to a long-term deal.
