Manchester City have signed AS Roma midfielder David Pizarro on loan.
The 32-year old Chilean flew in from Rome this afternoon to have a medical and agree to a short-term deal which has now been finalised.
Pizarro played under Roberto Mancini at Inter Milan and the City boss has decided to strengthen his midfield by bringing him in for the remainder of the season.
"He plays football very well. I think he can help us to play better in some situations.""I know him very well. He is a good player, a good midfielder," Mancini told Sky Sports after tonight's loss at Everton.
