Manchester City have rattled Roma hopes of signing Inter Milan defender Nicolas Burdisso.
The Argentina international's agent, Fernando Hidalgo, is adamant Burdisso wants a move to Roma, where he played successfully on-loan last season.
However, Leggo says City have slapped in a €14 million offer for the defender, which is far superior to what Roma can afford.
If City boss Roberto Mancini can convince Burdisso about moving to England, Roma will be left out in the cold.
