Manchester City are set to earn a modest windfall thanks to the transfer of Jeremie Frimpong to Bayer Leverkusen.
The 20-year-old right back has signed with the German club for a fee in the region of £11.5 million.
When he was sold to Celtic in 2019, City inserted a sell-on clause in the agreement.
City will get 30 percent of the fee Leverkusen are paying for Frimpong, which should be a modest boost to manager Pep Guardiola's transfer kitty.
Celtic boss Neil Lennon is not happy at the sale, but admits the club could not turn down the money.
