Manchester City are set to send youngster Abdisalam Ibrahim on-loan to Norway's Stromsgodset.

Midfielder Ibrahim, 21, who has played three times for City's first team, has been compared in style to Patrick Vieira.

The Somalia-born starlet has spent previous spells on loan at Scunthorpe and NEC in Holland and boss Roberto Mancini wants the player to complete the Norwegian season before returning at the end 2012.
