Manchester City are ready to sell to fund a bid for Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Andrei Arshavin.
The Mirror says City owner Thaksin Shinawatra is making an £11million bid for Arshavin - after he lifted the UEFA Cup at Eastlands.
The Thai wants to bring the Russian in quickly to appease unhappy fans and talks have already begun.
City hope to finance the deal by selling defender Richard Dunne and midfielder Stephen Ireland, with Roy Keane's Sunderland leading the chase.
