Manchester City may send Georgios Samaras away on-loan next season.

Former club Heerenveen want to take the Greek striker back to Dutch football, but won't consider going anywhere near the £6 million they sold him for 18 months ago.

An alternative for City chiefs would be to farm the youngster out on-loan in order for Samaras to rediscover his scoring touch.
