Manchester City defender Ryan McGivern is set to permanently join Hibernian.

The 23-year old spent the season on loan with the Edinburgh club and impressed so much that manager Pat Fenlon offered him a two-year deal.

McGivern, who is expected to leave City this summer, has reportedly agreed to the proposal and will soon be unveiled as a permanent Hibees player after making 25 league starts during his loan spell.
