Roberto Mancini has insisted that he has no problem with James Milner after Monday night's poor reaction to getting substituted.
The England midfielder came off the pitch at Anfield shaking his head in disgust when Mancini subbed him and has ben criticsed for his antics from outsiders, including Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand.
But Mancini said there is no issue and is adamant that all hands are on deck to win the FA Cup trophy ahead of the semi-final with United on Saturday.
"I like it when a player is not happy when he comes off," he said. "It doesn't mean he has no respect for the manager. It is no problem. James is a good guy.
"At this moment, we should be happy.
"When we started the season our target was to reach the Champions League and try to win a trophy.
"We are one month away from the end of the season and we are in a good way.
"Now it depends on us."
