Emmanuel Adebayor's two-goal performance for Real Madrid in last night's Champions League quarter-final first leg pleased Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini.
The Togo striker, on loan with Real from City, netted the first two goals to help down Tottenham 4-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu and the Italian tactician admits he is happy for the ex-Arsenal star.
"I am happy for him. I am happy that he scored two goals and I hope he will continue to score goals," he told Sky Sports News.
But Mancini said he was still unsure whether Adebayor would be back at Eastlands next season.
"At the end of the season we will see. If he wants to stay, he can. I am happy for him because Manu is a good player," he added.
