Dedryck Boyata will remain on loan at Bolton after Manchester City decided not to recall him.
The 21-year Belgian defender joined the Trotters in the summer on a year-long loan but City had the option to recall him halfway through the season.
However, that has not occurred prior to the deadline passing and Boyata will remain at Owen Coyle's disposal until the end of the current campaign.
