Manchester City will pay £2.5million for striker Craig Bellamy to leave and join Cardiff City.
The Welshman has sealed a season-long loan to join his hometown club which will see them pick up less than half of his weekly wage.
City will give the Bluebirds the 31-year old whilst paying £50,000 of his £85,000 weekly wage indicating manager Roberto Mancini was keen to get him out of his squad.
Bellamy came to an agreement with Cardiff after he experienced difficulty in gaining a full-time move to Tottenham.
