Manchester City are ready to include a player in their bid for Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar.

City are targeting the centre-half for the summer market as they seek to improve the defensive options available to manager Pep Guardiola.

And they hope to tempt Inter into negotiations by taking advantage of their interest in Joao Cancelo.

The Nerazzurri are keen to bring the former Juventus fullback back to Serie A - and that's just the opening City can use to kickoff talks for Skriniar.
