Manchester City are considering making an offer for Monaco right-back Fabinho.

The Daily Mail is reporting that City boss Manuel Pellegrini sees Fabinho as competition for ageing full-backs Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna.

It is understood Monaco have valued Fabinho, who recently made his international debut for Brazil, at £15million.

The 21-year-old had a brief loan spell at Real Madrid in 2013, before spending the past two seasons on loan at Monaco from Portuguese outfit Rio Ave.
