Manchester City players are shocked by the email controversy involving Nedum Onuoha's mother.
Onuoha has made his team-mates aware of what happened and they are furious and awaiting answers from the club about the incident.
A source close to the players told The Sun: "They are angry about this. Nedum is a popular player and they are disgusted that his mother could be treated in such a way."
The Sun says an e-mail, sent from chief executive Garry Cook's account, mocked the cancer-ridden mother of Onuoha.
