Manchester City are set to use Bernardo Corradi as bait in a deal for Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia.

City boss Sven Goran Eriksson wants Amelia after losing out to Aston Villa in the race for Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson last week.

Corradi will be allowed to speak to Livorno today, which could setup a swap deal involving Italy international Amelia moving to Eastlands.
