Manchester City are jumping into the race for Real Madrid fullback Danilo.

The Times says Chelsea believed they were on the verge of signing Real Madrid right-back Danilo.

However, City have now made an approach for the Brazilian.

Pep Guardiola has just completed the world record £54million signing of Kyle Walker, but after his move for Dani Alves fell through, the City boss is still keen to add another right-back to his squad.

Alves joined PSG last week after his release by Juventus.
