Manchester City midfielder Yangel Herrera has announced he is leaving Granada.

Herrera has spent the past two seasons on-loan with Granada, but the LaLiga could not afford to pay the €20m fee to make the deal permanent.

Instead, Herrera is returning to City and said: "I say goodbye with the feeling of having given my best, they have been two wonderful years in Granada.

"I will carry them in my heart, a lot of success in the future, they deserve the best.

"I dedicated myself, worked and fought in these two years to help take this club as high as possible and we have achieved it."
