Manchester City midfielder Rodrigo was delighted with his side's overall performance against Leeds United.
The Citizens had to work hard for a 3-1 win away from home at Elland Road against the Whites.
However, their form shone in the end, as goals from Rodrigo himself and an Erling Haaland brace sealed the win.
"I think we did a very complete game. We started so good, with high rhythm.," Rodrigo stated post-game.
"This team, Leeds, have the highest rhythm in the league so we had to equal that. We created enough chances to have even more than three goals.
"It was important. These goals make a pain in the rivals in the last minute. We deserved to be on top but you have to score, this is football. We have to be focused on scoring goals, that's most important.
"It's massive to start with the three points and the feeling to go on a run.
"To achieve the Premier League we need to be on 90 or more points so that's what we want to do, to win every single game."
