Manchester City midfielder Rodri is now 54 games unbeaten for the club.
Victory over Everton on Saturday has seen Rodri reach the landmark.
"I recently read that it had been I don't know how many months or games," said Rodri. "The truth is that it is something remarkable. I am happy, especially because of what it means for the team not to lose for a year.
"In that sense, it only makes me want to move forward.
"I always try to do my best. This is a club where, obviously, you are going to lose a few times throughout the year. But one of the things I am most proud of is having grown in that aspect, to understand what the role is and where I think I can help the team the most. In that and in the work of containment, of limiting the opponent's weapons as much as possible. And that means that we concede few defeats, so to speak."
