Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has declared Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski the best in the world.

The pair played together for Borussia Dortmund.

Gundogan told DAZN: "It was a pleasure to play with him. He just got better and better.

"Technically he has always been incredible, but now he is also cool. He scores in a phenomenal way.

"In my opinion, he is the world's best and most complete striker right now."
