Gareth Barry is targeting a permanent move to Everton after joining on loan from Manchester City.
The 32-year old former Aston Villa man signed a season-long loan on deadline day and is now planning to produce some consistent form for the Goodison Park club in order to win a less temporary deal.
"Obviously that will happen if I can produce good performances this season, stay fit and put a good run of games together," he said when introduced to the media at Finch Farm on Tuesday.
"That is all down to me impressing the club, so I don't see why that can't happen."
