Manchester City ae determined to do what it takes to win the race for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
ESPN says manager Pep Guardiola is looking to overhaul things in the middle of the park with a few of his players not getting any younger, but City won't break the bank until they know whether Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva are set to commit to the club.
Gundogan's contract at the club ends this summer - while Silva's deal runs until 2025, but the Portuguese star has been strongly linked with an exit.
If Man City do face an overhaul in midfield, Bellingham - who is rated at £120m - is the man they want to lead them into the future as they look to convince him to join the Etihad over Liverpool and Real Madrid.
However, the 19-year-old remains Liverpool's key target and both English clubs will have to fight the might of Real Madrid, who reportedly lead the race for his signature.
