Man City losing staff in big numbers

Manchester City are making changes at youth level as they look to retain their place at the very top of the game.

The club's vaunted academy is set to undergo a minor shake-up in the coming weeks.

Brad Wall is departing as Northern UK scouting manager to become head of recruitment at Portsmouth, per The Mail.

He is set to be replaced internally, while City have also lost several other staff members.

The likes of Stewart Thompson (Chelsea), Paul McLaren (Newcastle), Paul Midgley (Newcastle) have all departed recently.

Now it is revealed that former Aston Villa left back Alan Wright, who was the club's Under-16s coach, is also leaving.
