Manchester City are interested in AC Milan defender Thiago Silva.
Milan sources say City are willing to offer £32 million for the Brazil international.
City are turning to Thiago as they face losing out on Benfica stopper David Luiz to Chelsea, which are willing to go to £27 million to land the Brazilian youngster.
Real Madrid were also keen on Thiago, but have left City with a clear run after snapping up Chelsea veteran Ricardo Carvalho.
