Manchester City goalkeeper Zak Steffen could yet extend his loan with Fortuna Dusseldorf into next season.

The USA international joined on-loan at the start of this campaign and has been outstanding for F95 thus far.

"I don't know yet what will be happening next season. It is too early to make a decision.

"But everything is possible," said Steffen.

As a young goalkeeper, I need games and experience at a high level. I get that from Fortuna. I have a good situation here.

"(But) extending would only be an option if we stay in the Bundesliga."
