Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has no regrets missing out on a move to Manchester United.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has confessed he gaffed in passing on the England No1 when he was at Shrewsbury Town.

Hart told The Sun: "I didn't know anything about that.

"But I'm happy with the way it's worked out for me. There can't be any regrets because I knew nothing about it.

"There was a lot of speculation when I was at Shrewsbury - but it was City who put the offer in.

"I watch Manchester United on TV because I love watching football. But I also love Manchester City - that's where my heart and passion lies."
