Manchester City have joined Tottenham in monitoring Southampton striker Jay Rodriguez's return to full fitness.
The Sun says City manager Manuel Pellegrini is considering a move for Southampton forward Rodriguez to boost his quota of English players.
Rodriguez is currently sidelined by a knee injury suffered at the Etihad Stadium last season and he was the subject of interest from Tottenham during the transfer window.
