Manchester City have joined the battle for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira. The Mail on Sunday says City are considering challenging Manchester United and Arsenal for Real Madrid's Khedira in January.

Carlo Ancelotti will attempt to block any move to buy Khedira this January, but Real Madrid will overrule their coach if the offer comes close to their £10million valuation of the player whose contract runs out at the end of the season.
