Manchester City are closing on a new deal with Kyle Walker.

The England fullback held talks with Bayern Munich earlier this summer and appeared set to join the German giants.

But he has now rethought his position.

Sky Sports says the agreement with City should arrive shortly.

City manager Pep Guardiola does not want to deprive himself of a key player and talks towards a one-year extension are progressing positively. His current deal runs to June 2024.
