Manchester City are hoping they can secure the services of Espanyol youngster Victor Ruiz in January.
Reports suggests that City officials traveled to Spain last week to hold talks with the 22-year old following his side's clash with Barcelona.
Reports suggest that Ruiz's services will cost City around £7.6million but it has also been stated that Espanyol are expecting something more like £10.2million.
