Manchester City hero Dennis Tueart has slammed Sven Goran Eriksson's predecessor at Eastlands, Stuart Pearce.

Tueart told the Manchester Evening News: "I told the chairman at the start of last season when we signed four players who lacked pace that we wouldn't score 30 goals in the Premiership - I was right because we managed just 29."
