Former Manchester City striker Niall Quinn rates Alvaro Negredo the signing of the season.
Negredo has struck 23 goals already this season.
Former Sunderland chairman Quinn told talkSPORT: "He has taken to it like a duck to water. He is just so strong.
"There was no way he was going to be hustled and bustled off the ball like some big signings that come to the Premier League for the first time.
"He has bounced off centre-halves, he has been good in the air, he has brought people into the game. He has got all the skillset. He is terrific and a great foil for Sergio Aguero.
"On the kind of prices people are paying for players now, he is the signing of the season for me."
