Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker described being England captain as a dream.
The veteran defender was given the armband by Three Lions head coach Gareth Southgate.
Walker, who is now 33 and enjoying a great season so far, got the honor during a draw with North Macedonia.
“I think after the qualification we had it would always be tough coming here," Walker told Channel 4 post-game.
“We dug in and got a point, wanted to take three but things happen in football.
“It was a fantastic moment for myself and my family,' he added while describing his captaincy experience."
